WHEN DO WE KNOW ITS TOO MUCH?

July 13, 2008 at 6:14 am

When wanting something too bad and it just can't be yours, will you rob it and despise the rule of property?

When loving somebody too much, you expect equal love in return but you receive little less than you expect, are you going to die for it?

When it hurts a lot and you feel like you're just the one being hurt, would you try to hurt others, too?

When you thought other's weren't hurt after you've tried to, would you keep trying to hurt them?

How about when you know they've been really hurt after all those times, will that make you happy?

.........................................................

You tell people that it's ok, even if you're not. You tell yourself that they believe you, even if they actually don't. And you know that. It's like faking a self-examination test. You put a check on the best answers, the sum would be outstanding, which will then determine you as a well-composed person. But it's a fancy. And suddenly, you expect people to clap. Then again, you get nothing but silence.

[sigh]

We don't struggle to be loved. Understand that not all love could be returned as we deemed it to be. It's something we should learn. Love is not something we ask or demand. It's a freewill. Otherwise, it's pity.

Disturbing the water in the lake doesn't make it a river. You keep trying to throw stones, you will exhaust yourself, you will get tired but the lake remains a lake. Stones you throw, no matter how many they are and how hard you tossed them doesn't change that fact. If you want to change something, change your perspective.

So, now, when do we know that it's too much?

When your answer on my earlier questions are all affirmative, IT'S too much, buddy. And i know you know that when it's too much, we NEED to stop.
